We're starting off the new year with some non-fiction! Our own Jeane Ess will lead the discussion about The Geek Feminist Revolution by Kameron Hurley.
This book collects dozens of Hurley's essays on feminism, geek culture, and her experiences and insights as a genre writer, including "We Have Always Fought," which won the 2014 Hugo for Best Related Work. The Geek Feminist Revolution will also feature several entirely new essays written specifically for this volume.
At 288 pages, it will hopefully by a short read compared to some of our previous picks.
Feel free to stay for the next hour, where we discuss our Graphic Novel of the month.
